"This is the sanctuary of a church near Linville Falls, in Crossnore, NC. Perched up a hill, complete with a walkway of 3-4 switchbacks, it is all old rock and dark wood. The setting sun shone full in the windows up front, radiating through every part at various times in my exploration. I love the smell of old churches. It's a lot like the smell of old libraries and bookstores. You just feel good things have been said and celebrated here for a long time."
